Series CHK fully-hydraulic anvil hammer can be up to 125KJ and larger hammer will be recommended to be manufactured the non-anvil counterblow hammer.
In the early 70's, Baixie collaborated with China Taiyuan Heavy-duty Machinery College to co-develop the first set 63KJ hydraulic counterblow hammer in China, and in the 80's further bought 100KJ hydraulic counterblow hammer technique from China Jinan Foundry and Metalforming Machinery Research Institute.
Type CDK electro-hydraulic counterblow hammer developed exclusively by Baixie has taken advantage of hi-tech fully hydraulic drive system and PLC striking control system. The two striking hammer heads have different weight, the lower hammer head is much heavier than the upper one while their striking energy is the same even if the speed and stroke of the lower one is less. During striking, the stability of the lower hammer head together with the lower die set is much better than the counterblow hammer with same speed between upper and lower hammer heads.
The typical forgings out of the counterblow hammer are front axle of automobile and crankshaft of large size combustion engine, etc.
Regarding type CDK counterblow hammer, there are several pneumatic cylinders filled in compressed air under the lower anvil. When the lower hammer head is hydraulically forced down, the oil pressure also compresses the air in the cylinder. As releasing the hydraulic pressure, the whole lower anvil is lifted up by the compressed air to drive up the lower hammer head , at the same time, the upper hammer head is driven down by high pressure oil, and strike together for the purpose of forging operation. |
